Red Moon Herbs has been an incredible source of support for the Appalachian Herb Collective from the beginning and continues to provide space, resources, and care that allow this work to carry forward. During the Hurricane Helene response, Red Moon Herbs opened their doors to our community, providing herbal medicine and supplies, storage space for donations, and a place for herbalists to gather and make medicine together. Their generosity gave the collective something essential: a physical home where resources could be organized, medicine could be made, and people could come together in service to the larger community.
That support continues today.
Red Moon Herbs continues to generously offer their space for Appalachian Herb Collective projects, community medicine making, and local mutual aid efforts. By making their business a place where herbalists can gather, organize, create, and respond to community needs, they continue to demonstrate what it means to put herbalism into action. We are deeply grateful for the many ways Red Moon Herbs has supported this collective and for their ongoing commitment to making space for community herbalism and mutual aid in Western North Carolina.
We encourage you to learn more about Red Moon Herbs, support their work, and visit them in Candler.
